"Tazana" (Tas-sa-na) or "Attitude" in Thai meaning is created by a Thai Designer; Suppapong Sonsang who conceived this brand name with a material specialist company, Microtek Products Co., Ltd. (MPC) The brand concept is based on the interpretation of "design" word which we believe that there is no exact condition in design. It is hard to decide when we see something whether it is a right or wrong design. Therefore, we believe that the outcome of its meaning depends on the individual point of view and attitude. For us, the word "attitude" means people can see one thing but they can recognize them in a different meaning and they can see in different aspects. |

Tazana logo consisted of one circle which can also be interpreted in many aspects such as perfect, modular or vision. In addition, the concept of Tazana is derived from many factors such as the material optimization, environmental concern and Thai culture assets.
The key characteristics of Tazana products come from our inspiration of Thai culture assets which use new technology combined with traditional talent of Thai people. The majority of people are tending to always require a standard pattern in their material and final goods. Yet, we have seen thing totally different.
Tazana proposes a modular unit with industrial standard but this standard cannot apply to the final goods that requires hand skills of weaving. The reason for this is because of Thai people are proficient in handicraft work for a very long time and with their ability plus repeatedly behaviour in weaving every day , this can be created to forma variety of final products. For instance, when they weave each piece of Stemcell together to form final goods as Moon, they do not need an instruction in putting them together, they just need to know that each piece can be formed into a shape as Moon and its look good - this would be enough. That is why Tazana products are different from others.
In Salone Sattellite 2008, Mr. Suppapong showed his work under the concept “THE MYSTERY OF SHEET AND BREAKING RULES OF PLANE”. He created the line pattern to laser cut on a metal sheet. From this pattern, we can push and pull the metal sheet to form many shapes as we want. These products could have volume from only a sheet so we name it “BEYOND UTILIZATION SERIES”.
